Overall Objective
The Edo College Computer Club aims to build students’ capacity in computing, programming languages, and general computer skills. This term is dedicated to Python programming, enabling students to develop problem‑solving skills and establish a strong coding foundation.
Specific Objective
By the end of the 10‑week course, students will be able to set up their programming environment and write basic Python scripts. They will master fundamental concepts such as variables, data types, operators, and string manipulation, along with effective control of program flow using conditionals and loops. Students will also learn to build modular code with functions, work with various data structures, and handle external data through file operations and JSON parsing. Finally, they will collaborate on group projects to apply these skills to real-world challenges, fostering teamwork and innovative problem‑solving.
